At Capital Foodservice, we're serious about our commitment to food safety – our distribution center is diligently monitored to ensure we meet and exceed the current required standards. Our Food safety Enhancement Program ensures regular sanitation and temperature checks as well as an in-house verification.



A cold chain is a temperature-controlled supply chain. An unbroken cold chain is an uninterrupted series of refrigerated production, storage and distribution activities, and associated equipment and logistics, maintaining quality via a desired low-temperature range. It is used to preserve and extend and ensure the shelf life of products, such as fresh agricultural produce, seafood, and frozen food.
